11th Concawe Symposium
Petroleum products have fuelled the global economy for more than 100 years. They have provided significant value to society: affordable mobility, feedstocks for many modern synthetic materials, and many other industrial and consumer products used daily. But like many other products in the modern world, without the correct use there can be unwanted side effects.
Science can inform consumers, industry and policy makers on how to minimise such impacts whilst retaining the considerable benefits of the use of petroleum products. Concawe’s role over 51 years has been to promote and conduct such science, often in collaboration with experts around the world and with policy makers. This 11th Symposium will, we hope, continue this tradition with open debate
about some of the current scientific challenges and, of course, solutions.
Venue: Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Brussels
