MEP 2016 Awards
The Parliament Magazine’s annual MEP Awards will return for their 12th year in the spring of 2016bringing together Members of the European Parliament, the Commission, EU Trade Associations and the EU Stakeholder community at large. The awards will celebrate the work and achievements of our European deputies across a range of policy areas.
For a consecutive year FuelsEurope will take an active part in the 2016 MEP Awards and will sponsor the Energy award. FuelsEurope will be visible under its ‘Save More than Fuel’ brand, which aims promoting efficient driving behavior and thus reducing emissions.
How does the MEP 2016 Awards work?
Anyone can nominate a MEP they think has made an excellent contribution in an EU policy area. If you would like to do so you have until 30 November 2015 here.
Nominations will be collated by The Parliament Magazine and shortlists for each category will be agreed. Each shortlist is based on which MEPs have the strongest case for inclusion in each policy-related category.
The shortlist will be announced 6 January 2016 and voting will be opened to all MEPs. Only MEPs can vote and they will have until 29 January 2016.
The results will be collated by The Parliament Magazine and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony that will be held 16 March 2016 at the Concert Noble in Brussels.
