The Role of Low Carbon Fuels in Decarbonising Maritime Transport

Amongst the key topics, the different panels are set to discuss the policy and regulatory maritime issues, if the global energy crisis affects the implementation of the EU Maritime Regulation; what’s the different low-carbon fuels for maritime transport and their sustainability; and what volumes of renewable fuels to expect for the Fuel EU Maritime Regulation.

Starting on 19 September and taking place onsite (Athens) and online, the three days conference will cover a broad range of important topics. John Cooper, FuelsEurope Director General, is a speaker in the Decarbonisation Policies panel, where he will talk about ‘Maritime and inland navigation renewable fuels: Choosing options for sectors, making pathways for investment and supply”.
